STArt Now Inc. has teamed up with Narrow Magazine to further its goal of highlighting creatives from across the country. The partnership not only brings exposure to musicians and artists but also creates a platform for writers, dancers and a variety of other creatives to display their work. Each issue of Narrow features young creatives procured by local art teacher and former STArt Now recipient, Kelly King, in the STArting Young section. Students from all over St. Johns County are featured with their talents, given a chance to speak on it, and are praised by their educators. The partnership has also resulted in a number of events from the STArt Now showcases at the Colonial Oak Music Park to the upcoming art show featuring the STArting Young recipients. Each event doubles as a chance to display local creatives while also fundraising for STArt Now. The partnership with Narrow has also resulted in a working relationship with 1824 Media Group, giving Narrow Magazine the opportunity to partake in press conferences with nationally recognized recording artists that are both established and well known like Katy Perry, Tank & the Bangaz, and Yung Gravy among others; but also interviewing up and coming musicians like Midwxst, Ryan carve, Kid ken and others. Narrow Magazine also gives students at Flagler College a chance to display their talents through our specially crafted intern program that combines the non-profit sector with the world of publication and marketing.
